Any fishing reports, or advice for Lake Tarpon in January. I'm going this weekend, and I'm not sure where to start. Thanks in advance for any help.

I will be there sunday and it will probably be slow try the canals near dolly bay  and try throwing a rattletrap early in dolly bay or little dolly bay let me know how you do

I went this past Saturday, and caught just one pound and a half bass. I also seen some dead fish in the shallows, a couple brim, bass. Couldn't find them. I was in dolly bay first thing, and threw a rattle trap, and plastics, which is where I caught the bass at, but other than that, it was bad. I didn't try the south canal, probably should have tried that. I think I will try it this weekend. How did you do? 

Horrible 2 bites all day and I talked to some live bait guys I know and they said the same thing that they had only caught 1 on SHINERS!!! I tried the south canal but nothing both my bites came in the housing canals in the thick hydrilla, what did you get your fish on? ps : the water was alot warmer than I expected but the fish didnt bite. still had fun
