Anyone thinking about or going to Guntersville

I just got back from a recent trip to Guntersville. I wanted to post my past experiences I have had. We have been going down there for about 5 years. Each year we do a couple 3 night trips and then 1- 7 night trip. Every time we stay at a house rented from The Waterfront Grocery & Tackle. Before I go any farther this is a fishing cabin, not The Ritz. Great price, Located mid lake easy access to run north or south. Boat ramp is right there and you are staying next to the grocery and tackle store.

By the way the lunch specials are really good if you come off the water to eat. But the best part about it is the people that run this. They are always friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. They also have in my opinion one of the most knowledgeable guides on the lake. His name is Doug Campbell. If you want a fun day on the water and are looking to hire a guide this is your man. I have learned so much about this lake from him.

    I just thought I should share my experiences because to me customer service is #1 in my book and they have always been great.
