Anyone know this lake well? Anyone know any good websites to check to track what's going on there? I'm gonna be fishing there in a couple weeks (launching out of Occoneechee) and want to show up prepared. All help appreciated!

434.738.6371 extension 275 for water level.

300 is normal. Anything over 300 is best.  306+ outstanding. 303 -304 means water is in the bushes which is very good.

Releasing water out of Kerr into Gaston all the time so you will have fluctuating water levels. You want water to run to get bass to feed.

Last I heard water was stained.

Got a GMCO map? If so, I will PM you some suggested places to go out of the state park. 

Conservation officers watching the lake so be sure to have everything you need on the boat; your registratiion and fishing license.
