I find myself using "different" trailers for chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, etc. Just something they haven't seen. I like the way the tail looks on that. I'd be interested to see how you do with it.

I've used them for anything from small top water ricos all the way up to a 1/2 oz jig, and everything in between. It is a small reel, but has plenty of power, at least in my experience.

Have you tried a spoon? Simple but can be VERY effective, local guy here has won a ton of money using spoons on suspended fish.

I can appreciate that shot as I have been the victim of a Jamaican bus ride. I was praying the whole time, makes a cab ride in D.C. or New York feel like a ride in the country!

I have both and like both. Subtle differences as already mentioned. If you have the extra coin I say try the Chronarch, I have mine paired with a Powell spinner bait rod and it performs flawlessly, then again so do my Curado's. I cast super light spinner baits with it no problem. I have never had an issue with spooling it. Bottom line both are great reels, but if you are asking if you would be satisfied with spending a little extra to have the Chronarch, then my answer is yes. BTW, I like that pick up in your avatar.
