Anybody have any updates on Lake Kissimmee? Where are the hotspots? Is the locks open. I will be at Camp  Mac in two weeks, and I was wondering if anybody had any updates on where to go, and what to do. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

At Lake kissimmee, double-digit bass starting to increase,with Camp Lester guide Don Brown releasing13.20-pounder Monday on shiner along with several 6-8 pounds, reports Leo Cosce at Camp Lester. Sue Malcolm released 10 1/2- pounder Sunday on wild shinner, reports Grape Hammock. Lots of 8-9 pounders on artificials through weekend, but average size tapered off this week. Fisherman casting black/blue Senkos, Flukes,10-inch worms, Skinny Dippers, and Trick worms a little deeper,from 1 1/2 -3 feet now out to 3-5 feet. Keeper -size bass w/ couple off 6 pounders last weeks on running water pattern at canals w/ current still running.

In two weeks the water should not be running.  The bluegill spawn should be in full swing and the last wave of spawners should be coming shallow with the full moon.  I will be in 4-6 ft of water with a frog, skinny dipper or a swimming jig.
