I usually don't fish it until August or September. But might go up in the next few weeks. Is it wadeable now? Anyone fished it recently? I usually work my way across river to the island then fish the dam on the backside of the island.

I have no idea as I have not heard any reports.

I would think fishing during the week is better than weekends.

We also need to go out to the Chick once again. 

Geese are telling me the bite is on. 

I'm off the week of June 20 if you want to head to the Chick oneday that week.

ooops!   I'm off the following week.  The last week of June, first few days of July. 

I catfished the pasture yesterday.  If you are looking for the cats they we active yesterday.  we fished untill about lunch time and caught 17 good sized flatheads.  As far as the water level it is about normal but after the rains the other night the color is still a little stained so you have a hard time seeing your feet while you are trying to wade the river.  hope this helps if you need any more info let me know
