901 guys. anyone ever fish WHITEVILLE lake?

just wondering. thinking it desnt get much pressure but never heard about it.

Very shallow lake and lots of little fish from what I remember.  Wasn't impressed at all.

It is a shallow lake, but I used to catch great numbers of 1-3lb fish with a five or so every few trips.  It's been close to 15 years since I've fished it, but we'd do well flipping downed trees and then fishing deeper on the steep bank right near the rental boats, just across that first cove.  7 " Berkley powerworms in red shad or junebug always seemd to work there, never anywhere else.  Alot of nice bluegill and shellcrackers in there too,

Yes, it' straight out Hwy 64, just east of Whiteville.
