went out today as well. A buddy and I did alright. Took fish on jigs, cranks and buzz baits. including a 40 + lbs Flathead...

    nice...i was using jigs at about 10-15 feet and couldnt hook up. saw some guys hooking up on cranks but I wanted to stick with the jig.

    To top it off...I lost a jig too!

    After Fountainhead on friday, went to huntsman on sunday.... and got skunked.  Got out around 830 am.... and think I was a little too late. 

    I also think the water was cooler than has been, due to the rains, but the water was very very stained.  Tried to stir up some action with some noise makers (cranks, double colorado spinners, ect) with no luck.  Would have been a day I could have really used electronics. 

    Has Burke cooled down from the ridiculously warm water it was like 2 weeks ago?
