Hot Day with a Slow Bite...

Featured Replies

Well, finally I was able to hit the water after about a month. I headed out for Lake Ida and was on the water at 6:45, and fished until 10:00.

The bite was slow as I was only able to hook this guy:

Caught him right along the weed line:

I lost another about the same size a little while later. I threw everything I could, the only lure producing the fish today was a Yo-Zuri Rattle Vibe in Baby Bass, the same lure I used last time in this very same lake. I think it reached 93 degrees today. Well, at least I boated one and was able to try out the new camera (Canon 110 Power Shot). I am glad to have gotten out, and at least had some company on the water:

Tight Lines!

great pics! that weed line looks fun too.

Seems from florida to va the heat is bad for those of us above the water, and causing those below it to not want to do much of anything.

Nice pics and that is a great looking set up on your yack.  Your ruler looked great too.

Thank You! The ruler is a Hawg Trough, which I purchased at Hook1. It really shows up nicely in pictures.

I like the Hawg Trough. Might pick one up for my rig. Nice pictures.
