Going on a flaot with my wife this weekend from Scottsville to Hardware. any advise? Thanks.

I love to do that float.  I usually like to fish jerk baits in the deeper water (deeper than 4 feet) right below Scottsville and then farther down river (usually right before the pipeline) I like to throw weightless soft plastics like Case Jacks worms and Magic Stiks.  I have caught a good number of fish at the pipeline and also right above Hardware in between the islands.
