Wayne Knabe in Powhatan off Petersburg Road.

Great guy and extremely reasonable.

You will love the guy.

Tell him Sam sent you and to give you the Joel Eberts rod repair discount!!!!! (Inside joke)

He will have your rod ready in a few days.  ;)

You pronounce his name:

Kay-Knob-Bee

Great guy.  ;)

I would recommend Wayne also, half the time i go, he will fix my rod or clean my reel on the spot and send me off with it in perfect working condition in about 40 mins.  A great guy to talk with and deal with.

thanks guys....i called him today and seems like a really nice fella! :) Im gonna try to dig out few other of my older rods that were missing tips etc and bring them over also. Im also gonna have him clean a few reels!  ;)

Check out his stockpile of gear if he lets you in his trailer.  Its impressive to say the least.  The man has gear from every decade since the early 1900's probably.

Hey Carrington, he got the early 1900 gear when he was a boy in the early 1900's!!!  ;D   ;D   ;D

it honestly wouldn't shock me, the man has been around for a while.

He is a great guy.

Stop by sometime and shoot the bull with him and watch him work on the rods and reels.

He makes it look easy.  :)
