If so, please tell your success stories and what lakes you were fishing.

Never thrown one. I've been really interested in trying out the Grass Minnow. That thing looks pretty neat.

The guy in the video is right up your alley.  Loomis rod and a Shimano reel.  :P

Video of it on Okeechobee:

Yea, I was checking that bait out while surfing through TW.  That guy is embarrassing catching all those dinks with MY Loomis and Shimano ;)

I ordered the Huddleston 8" trout, should be here tomorrow.  I'm going to get out to the rock pit with the video and see if I can't pull out some decent ones.

Hope you stick a few good ones.  I've been itching to get back out again.  Hopefully sometime tomorrow afternoon for a little while at least.

I fish the 8 inch, 6 inch/6 inch weedless and the new special 68/ weedless shad and grass minnow.  For the eight inch I have only caught a couple over 5 pounds with the biggest so far at eight.  I have seen some PIGS following that bait several times.  At the right time I may catch one of them BIG girls.  I don't throw it as much as I should though.  I honestly would say, purchase a couple of the 6 inch weedless and bottom bounce those all day long.  They will get bit by the big girls too.  I have caught a few over six with that one and lost several bigger.  Problem was I was using a rod without enough backbone to get a good hookset with the weedless hudd.  Watch the huddbait website for another batch of the special 68's to come out.  Good luck, you WILL catch DD bass if you throw themenough!!!
