Will be heading down to Clewiston on the 11th for a weeks stay. Can anybody tell me if the Moore Haven Cut is clear up to the Monkey Box?

Also, I was told that the least expensive place to get a licence is in the area is at Wal Mart. Is that true?

Don't know about the cut..Water is getting shallow on the lake right now. Check on line about the license. Bob

i believe that is the seven mile ditch. i ran through it about a month ago. there is one area that was sketchy, but still doable. as far as the license goes, i think they are the same price no matter where you get it from. like bob said, check online for the license. that is where i got mine. i got the 5 year one and saved a little cash.

The ditch is fine on plane, lake is at 12.5 now, but another 1/2 foot and it becomes a different story depending on boat setup.
