Has anyone ever fished the New River in WV from a kayak? I have went white watering on parts of it several times and banked fished it a lot last summer. I am wanting to know what parts are safe to go on and whats not. I have read a lot but after reading several articles, some of them go against each other and I am not to sure if I should rely on them.

A few of us went a year or two ago and had a blast! I thought we posted a report here but not sure. I'll look for it when I'm at a computer.

Definitely doable, just don't go alone or be careless and you'll have fun
