  3. Has anyone ever fished the New River in WV from a kayak? I have went white watering on parts of it several times and banked fished it a lot last summer. I am wanting to know what parts are safe to go on and whats not. I have read a lot but after reading several articles, some of them go against each other and I am not to sure if I should rely on them.
  4. I was wondering if there were any anglers in the Charleston/Huntington, WV area looking for a tournament partner? I do not have a boat but will split all cost 50/50 and do everything to help out that I can. I live in huntington and have did many tournys at the lakes around here with my uncle since I was 16. I am going on 24 and have been fishing tournys the past three but he is in nursing school and working at a hospital and does not have time to go this year.
  5. East Lynn is not bad in the spring and fall, but I don't think it is that great in the summer unless you go out at night. Mud River lake in Lincoln county is a really good lake for bass. It is a 9.9 hp lake but it is great all year round in my opinon.
  6. Summersville is a good lake to catch some smallies in aswell. There are quite of few lake around you that are good. I am about 2 1/2 hr from summersville and there are plenty of lakes this away as well.

  10. Well we went out there for about an hour sunday and it was froze over and we ended up leaving and did some fishing on a river closer to the house.

  18. I would go with the revo s. They are great, and you can get them new off of ebay from tackle wholesalers for under 100. There was a couple in the lea market forum on here.

    Any good clubs around Huntington, WV? I was in one for a while but there were a couple of people that thought they knew all and I didnt care for it.

  21. Well I have the patience, and skills to do it. Im an auto body tech, and me and my dad also do wood work on the side for fun sometimes. But as far as time I dont have a lot, but thought it could be a good winter project.
