Moving to Goldsboro, NC area

Featured Replies

Well our project here in MS is finishing up and it looks like I'm heading to another project in Goldsboro. I am trying to find some good places to go once I get there any ideas would help.

You have a few options from Goldsboro. The nuese river is a good fishery.  You are only an hour from the coast there so depending on the time you will arrive I would try to get down for the spring runs.  There are a few lakes within an hour or so drive. If you want more detailed info let me know.

Thanks. What are some of the lakes in that area? My fishing buddy from Florida is already up there and said they have been doing pretty good on the Nuese. I also have a long time friend stationed at Legeune so I will be down there on the weekends when I can.
