Open Back Seat Friday May 1 at Lake Isabella CA.

Featured Replies

As most of you know by now I'll be picking up my new boat tomorrow. I'll be taking it out on Lake Isabella on Friday May 1 and my fishing buddy wont be able to make it so I'll have an open back seat if someone wants to come along.

I do have a few stipulations.

First off I dont drink so if your ideal of fishing is getting hammered dont bother.

Secondly, I practice catch and release of ALL bass If we happen to get into some crappie, thats a different story.

Finally, if you wont respect my boat, not be a slob or spit chew down the side dont bother

The first person to PM or email me that can live with the rules listed above can come along for a great free day of fishing.

BTW, I've been fishing Isabella since the very early 80's

Had a  BLAST!! Thanks for asking. I ended up taking my nephew. I got a couple PM's late Thursday night but didnt see them until Friday eve, sorry guy, I'll llet ya know when I'm available again.

Anyhow, when I left town it was windy so I'm thinking it would be holwing at the lake but after we got over Walker Pass the wind stopped.

We only caught 4 bass but the day was more about checking out the new boat. I thought my 201 rode nice but this 210 It rode like a dream. I had her up to 72 as per the GPS and she still had more, just have to continue to learn the jack plate.

If it were not for the fact that we have 2 people on travel this coming week I'd be taking days off, oh well, there's always next weekend.
