The spawn is on

Featured Replies

The spawning peacock bass are every where.

The largest we've caught so far was 3 1/2 pounds. Nice one Milton.

Most weighed around 2 pounds. Where are all the big fish?

Guess we'll just keep looking.

It's easy to tell the male fish with that big hump on their head.

Saw a fish tv show once, they were so america fishin for peacock bass. This dude throws a topwater bait under a overhanging tree, and this 20 lb peacock just Explodes on it, big males are really colorful, also they put up a good fight.

Keep fishin, I'm sure you'll find the big guys.

You'll land the big one sooner or later, just keep throwing your best at them.

What's ironic about Peacock Bass, is that they aren't even related to our favorite game fish. I think they get the name just from the physical similarities...

Hopefully you get a chance to hit the water for Memorial Day! Good luck Stan.
