NorCal's Lake Earl

Featured Replies

Anyone know anything about it?

My family is renting a house very close to it all next week.

I hadn't planned on bringing any gear.  Is there boat/gear rental place on or near the lake?  Thanks for any info.  This will be my first trip to Cali.

It looks to be a tidal pool?  Brackish water?  Are there even bass in there?  I'm not finding much info so far.

Not familiar with it personally, but it looks to be DFG land (Dept Fish/Game). This is from the web site:

Fishing, boating, and bird watching are allowed. Cutthroat and steelhead are the most popular fish species, and boaters find the Narrows the most accomodating area for boats because of dense vegetation in the lakes.
