Fishing in Phoenix?

Featured Replies

Coming from DC to Phoenix on the 10th-15th, wondering if there are any good holes around there so I know whether or not to go through the hassle of bringing a rod or two, or if anyone out there wants to help me break this cold weather dink-spell I'm having in DC...

Thanks in advance

Lake Pleasant is probably the closest one to Phoenix but there are several other lakes close by. If you post on AZ bass zone you might be able to find an open back seat.

I shore fished Pleasant at night last May, saw alot of stripers, and the boat guys were getting decent largemouth between 12-15 feet.  Being a different time of year, I dont kow where the fish would be, but Id bet a paycheck the striper bite will be good.
