Going to go to clear lake in march for the elite series and was wondering where to fish and catch huge bass?

    If you're there during the Elite tourney the best spots will probably be pretty pressured. Depends where you stay, but there are so many 5+ pounders in there that you can pretty much pick any section and get a nice bag.

    If this is so then what baits would you recomend? bought a few big 8inch swimbaits in hiitch color... how will these work this time of the year?

    They work year round. You'll also be able to do quite a bit of bed fishing if that's your thing.

    definitely bed fishing is a blast! where are the majority of the beds on the lake main body or past the peninsula?
