El Dorado Park in southern California

Featured Replies

Hey guys I'm going fishing at El Dorado Park on Saturday.  Anyone want to meet up down there and we can fish and chat.  Always looking to learn from others.

Wow, that's crazy. Once I saw this post I joined just to send Hammer 4 a message.

I'm not to big on drives, and I've read a disturbing trend of breakins at Lake Perris, and I have no boat nor the money to really rent one, so the only close place to fish for me is El dorado park, really not an ideal place but it's what I have for now. Id love to chat with a few of you that may have some information regarding fishing there. I've only gone a couple times and the most I've landed in a single day was 2, get skunked about half the time.

El Dorado Park, been a long time since I've heard that name and probable thirty years since being there. I remember it being pretty big but don't remember ever fishing there. I do remember fishing the Los Alamitos Race track as a kid though. Snuck in of course.

Not a great fishery.. But it's right down the street. Hard to pass up, no matter how funky the water gets. (Sadly, I've caught underwear there...)
