What is your most effective pattern? I've always used the midnight black.  Just seems to me to be the most noticeable if a bass is looking up.

the olny color i worry about is the belly color and the color of the leggs ... thats all the bass see anyway .... i like the realistic looking bellys and leg colors .... or if i see a frog ill try getting a good look at him ... then you can match the spro ...  

Midnight Black works for me.....Caught a couple decent fish a few nights ago on the pond behind my house twitching it across heavy slop.

i use white, but thats so i can see where its at.  if you ever go swimmin check out the color of it, they all look black from a little ways down.

I too agree, it it is not the color of the top of the frog that matters. But it is the movement of the frog that gets to them, that bait pushes alot of water.
