Hello all. Is the spot remover a good "shakey head" jig? If so, is a strike king 3x worm a good choice for that jig? Any techniques and ideal situations when this set up is most useful is greatly appreciated...

Any round or flat headed jig will work just fine for shakey head fishing. as far as the 3x worms go they are awesome. They float like no other and are nearly impossible to rip. You can easily catch 10+ fish with one worm

The Spot Remover is not a shaky head. Its a standup head. A regular shaky head would be better for the 3X worms, they are a little hard to rig up without sticking a hook point through them. The Strike King shaky heads have been getting decent reviews and I like the looks of them with the 60 degree hook angle.

With a stand up jighead like the Spot Remover there is not much need for a floating worm. The angle of the hook and the natural friction from the water against the worm will hold it up long enough for it to attract a fish's attention. I have been successful with every worm from a finesse to an Ol' Monster worm. If you want the worm to float a little better than normal get one without salt.
