He'll be back in a year or two somewhere and be richer than ever.

Think he has the nerve to try the Raiders? He already rebuilt one franchise!

Goodbye Bill Cowher, and thanks for the Super Bowl win!  8-)

Yeah,he was a good coach. Not a hall of Famer but a good ,solid football coach.I'm sure the Steelers wil miss him.

Not a hall of fame coach?  are you kidding me?

 15 seasons as head coach

1.  9 division titles

2.  10 playoff appearences

3.  2 super bowl appearences (one win)

Show me a coach that has those kind of numbers and is not in the hall of fame, I do not think there is one.  That is a very impressive resume as it is not to mention that he could very well come back and add to it with another team.  If cowher is not a hall of fame coach who is?

He wil coach another team ( perhaps even Green Bay) and will walk into the hall of fame with ease!

Cowher was and will still be a awesome coach. If I am right he has a contract with NCS, right?

Cowher's wife and kids live in North Carolina, just watch. he'll be the Panthers coach within 2-3 years.

I'm not kidding you...LOL ! Time will certainly tell, won't it? Boy,you are really up on your stats. You kin to him or something...LOL?

No I am not family with cowher.  I have been a steeler fan for about 30 years,  but the only reason that I knew those stats is that I watched the press conference when bill annouced his resignation and those stats were part of what the announcers were talking about in regards to his carreer.  Most of the sports poeple that I have seen on espn and elsewhere since he resigned say that he is a hall of famer right now.  I do not know about that but with his stats and the legacy he has left behind I would be very surprised if he does not get in even if he never coaches again.  But that will probally not happen I look for him to be coaching in a year or two, maybe in carolina or atlanta both would be close to his new home.  I think that he was/is a great coach, and in the future he will be recognized for his knowledge and passion for the game of football.

Matt

This my last post on this subject, honest.Didn't mean to get you all riled up.By the way, Tom Flores won TWO Super Bowls and had a great career with the Oakland Raiders. He's still waiting for his call to the Hall of Fame.He was also the first Hispanic American(and for all I know the only)head coach in the NFL.I think he certainly deserves to be in also.

I would have to agree with that assessment....

I will also agree with you, Tom Flores was indeed a great coach.

Goodbye Mr. Cowher
