pretty cool experience

Featured Replies

I had a pretty cool experience this morning. I am new to turkey hunting and I did some scouting today for next week's opening day. Well I was sitting in my spot and a pair of Tom's and a hen came out of the woods. I started calling to them and I actually got the Tom's pretty worked up. It was the most exciting time I've had in the woods for a long time. I felt like I was watching Primos. I know where I'll be next week for sure ;)

That's gotta be rewarding Zara.  Next time you scout, use a camera in place of a weapon.  I bet if you were full camo w/ your back to a tree, you could get some amazingly close shots.

Good luck next week.

Good thinking LBH, I may go tomorrow if the weather isn't terrible.  I'll post some pics if I go and see anything.
