Any flight simmers here

Featured Replies

Just curious, I dable in flight simming and just wanted to see if there were any other "pilots" here.

Did a few years ago.  Mostly the microsoft filght sims.  Was interested (still am) getting my pilots license and was told that the MS flight simms were good for instrument navigation.  Understand the latest verions are very cool.

I too only use the MS sims and like you I really want my pilots license.  My neighbor has a commercial license, and I live within a mile or so of a small general aviation airport so that feeds the itch even more.  The flight sim is my relief until I can figure out how to pay for my license for real.

I don't play with flight program on computer but I am a  CFII

I *** you Bud, I really really want to fly for real.  Maybe someday I can achieve that goal.

No but Ive been known to fry a hamburger or two>>>> Oh OH  I misunderstood the question>>>>>>>>>>>my mistake

Muddy would that be considered a UFO?  unidentified frying object?  been known to have those here!!

I also mess with flight sim.  I have tons but microsoft is the best!!  I also have the WW2 europe and pacific add ons where you can dog fight the japanese and germans.  And if you havent tried it look up an old game called red barron.....its hellafun!!

You can get your Private Lic here for about $2.500 bucks.  A little less if you are a quick learner a little more if you are slow.  The best way is to join a flying club.    You can do it all it take is a little desire.

PS   If you think fishing is expensive.??????
