Don't use cedar trees. They will not last and they are so thick you cannot fish then without getting hung up. It is better to use a hard wood like Oak. Or better yet use some Porcupine Attractors. Be sure to check with the local D&R

cart7t MapCreate is a computer program that lets you work with waypoints at home then load them to a SD card to load them into you GPS. It does away with a lot of hunting on the water. I don't like Mapcreate I rather use Hot Maps Explorer with PC Hummingbird in my Birds. I use the Navionics HD maps for Ky and Barkley. They are more accurate in my openion.

They do work better at 3-4 mph. But they will work on the TM. The trick is to make slow turn with the TM. If you whip it around fast it will take several second for the picture to clear up. One other thing is READ THE BOOK.
