We have a little joke in my neighborhood ...... Neighborhood meetings are conducted when the Tornado sirens sound.  It's the only time we are all outside. ;D

I've honestly met 75% of my neighbors either during a Tornado Warning or a big snow storm.

I see a wall cloud but where's the twister?

Anyway, I don't know how you guys in Kansas, OK or TX live there.  We get a few tornadoes here in eastern Missouri but to live in an area where the finger of God can come down a destroy your entire life in a couple minutes with hopefully, at least 15 minutes warning, is a scary thought.

I find it hard to believe that people live in those areas in mobile homes and houses with no basement or storm cellar.  Scary.

Those are some neat pics.  Like the one of the dog, but, he does not look amused at all with the current situation - he's a cute little fella.

I lived in Indiana for a part of my life when young.  Tornados were rather common, and I remember them well.

That is a cute dog, looks like a min pin, I have one too named recon lol.  He definitly does not look impressed!

Yesterday, the movie Twister was on.

I watched it because of the recent tornadoes out west.

Man, what a movie,

what a storm.

The power of nature is truly awesome.

Cart7, go south below Cape Girardeau into the bootheel.  I grew up down there and it's flat as a pancake.  I saw a number of tornados as a kid.  The area is small compared to the state of Kansas, but proportionately I would bet that there are just as many.

Speaking of tornados, I guess you've all seen the pictures of Greensburg, KS.  Well, technically, there are no pictures of Greensburg because it no longer exists after the F5 wedge tornado nailed it a few days ago.  It's been all over the news.  The tornado path is 1.4 miles wide through the town.  Check the links below.
