You Florida Guys...

What is going on down there?  It seems like every time the news is on, they're talking about the drought in florida, all the wildfires, etc.  I even saw that Lake Okeechobee's water level was down 7 feet on the news a few days ago.

Any feedback from our guys down south?

Major drought, bro. My girlfriend's mom is the head of the South Florida Water Management District and said to me last night that this was just horrible.

You need to look in on the Southeast forum.  there have been several recent threads.

I also posted a picture in the "my outing" section just yesterday, showing the launch ramp on my home lake ending in mud instead of water.

This is the beginning of our rainy season, and there has been a little, but we would need a good downpour every day for a couple of months to back to where we should be.

My private lake is almost 5 feet low.....the lowest I have ever seen it.

There are 3 wildfires burning within 5 miles from my house, smoke coverage and smell is daily!

We have gotten just a small bit of rain but we need alot more and are praying for a heavy rainy season!

Ouch... I guess it really is bad down there.  Best of luck.
