I bought a couple of packs in the medium bill version. I'm assuming the bill length dictates the amount of kick or vibration that the lure has?

I had the same question after someone brought that up the other day.  I never even realized there were different lengths....

The longer bills give you a wider action while the shorter bills are much tighter.  Keep in mind that the plastic you choose to use will make a huge impact on the action of the bait.
