This is hard to believe.  If it is true,  they will get what they deserve. >:(

claims like this need to have a source.  can you tell us where you got your info?

The complaint from EMS was that allegedly that the Jackson Fire Department was on the scene or near the scene because the vehicle crash was outside city limits, Sheriff David Woolfork said Tuesday morning. At this point I can't confirm whether or not that occurred.

The department investigated after emergency workers complained that firefighters were advised not to help with the fire, the report says.

Mike Morgan, the interim Jackson fire chief, said firefighters were initially told the accident was at Thelma Barker Elementary School, and did not see the fire until they noticed that foliage around the crash was aflame. The firefighters reported to their dispatcher that county firefighters were already at the wreck when they arrived.

Morgan said he hoped to finish a report on the matter today.

Whether they acted or not because they were in the county has no play here, Morgan said. There was some confusion for about one or one and a half minutes there that before he got out of the truck and saw the county fire truck actually extinguishing.

Sounds like the other firefighters were already there handling it.

Looks like the original post was deleted by the author. He probably could not verify the source of his interesting facts. LOL
