Has anyone tried these? I just picked up two packs of the 6 inch at Dicks and would like to know. also if you have used them what size/type hook did you use and what style rig.

I use a T-rig, 5/0 EWG hook, bead, and enough weight for the conditions.

I also tried it weightless, in weeds. Had a lot of blow-ups on it, but hooked very few of the fish that hit it on top.

Good bait.

Cheers,

Use the 6" Green Pumpkin with tail dipped in Chartreuse Spike-it,  Had good luck with them Texas rigged with 4/0 Gamakatsu Skip-Gap hook.  The Skip-Gap seems to stay in place better than regular offset on tube type baits.
