This time of year I really enjoy watching the LLWS.  This is baseball in it's purest element.  These guys play with heart.  I enjoy watching them play just about as much if not more than the pro's.  I'm pulling for my team from Lubbock, Texas (Southwest regional champs).  Anyone else have their favorites?

Ahh... baseball with no talk of money, sponsors or steroids... and the players love the game, not the paycheck.  That my friend, is real baseball!!

Folks, I know this might be slightly off topic, but our 11-12 year old softball team made it to the little league world series and won! First time a team from my town won a world championship. Hats off to those young girls on 11-12 year old softball team.

Last year the same girls made it to world series and placed 3rd then one year later they return with redemption and won. ;D

Now back to the baseball side, my town also has placed 3rd in williamsport. CLosest we've been to williamsport was back when I was 12 we made it to the regional and got beat.

I'm not pulling for anybody right now, but I enjoy watching those young guys play. It pure heart and emotion.

Yes, KW, I had the opportunity to watch the girls play the other night and was really impressed.  I've always wondered how good Roger Clemens would be if he had to throw underhanded?

Personally, I am not a baseball fan.  However, I enjoy watching the LLWS.  It seems to be sport at its most pure.

Plus, it looks great in H.D.  Its so clear you can count the pimples on the kids faces!!!

Born and raised in Lubbock Texas.  Played in the league these kids are from, so I guess you can see why I'm pulling for them.
