Since April 2nd I have fished at least once a week exclusively with 5 Gary Yamamoto Senko and 5 Wave Worms Tiki Stick both weightless Texas Rigged. Colors used Watermelon Neon and Black Blue Flake Blue Tip

Here's the head to head comparison; 8 total 5 hour trips produced 112 bass

Both baits produced almost identical results in numbers and quality

Both baits would catch 2-5 bass before having to be replaced

The Tiki Stick is lighter in weight and which produced a slower rate of fall

The Senko was heavier due to having more salt which produced farther cast in windy conditions and a faster rate of fall.

So what was learned? That even an Ole Catt can learn new techniques & new baits

Did you ever catch bass with the tiki stick when the senko couldnt and vice versa?

I have found that when nothing is hitting the senko that a tiki stick will produce, but i never try it the other way around because if they are biting a senko i am pretty reluctant to switch :

I bet if you were using Kinami's they would have out-fished both big time.

Today

Tiki Stick: 2 bass

Senko: 6 bass

But just to put things into prospective I switched to a Texas Rigged Gene Larew 7 ½ Salty Ring Worm Junebug/Blue Tail with a 1/8 oz weight which produced only 3 bass but they were all larger than those produced by the Tiki Stick & Senko.

The reason for the comparison was due to the fact that before 04/08 I totally disliked any Stick bait. I've not only built confidence in these lures but have added one more technique to my arsenal.

Y'all have obviously missed what was learned by comparing the two companies; Tiki Stick slower rate of fall & Senko faster rate of fall. The difference in rate of fall will keep both baits in my arsenal.
