paint for poolside

Featured Replies

I just finished power washing the porch where my inground pool is. (In Florida they call this a Lanai)

It's pretty clear I need to paint the area around the pool.

I don't know what the material is that surrounds the pool.  It is a kind of textured paving material that is then painted.

I wonder what kind of paint is best for the area around an outdoor in-ground pool.

I forgot what I used..  Ask Home Depot or Lowes.  Or pool company...

I work for Valspar Corp. and we have a product that I used on some concrete at home (assuming it is concrete around your pool). It is call Quickrete Textured Concrete Coating. You can have it tinted (for free) to match the color of your house, garage or whatever else you want. I think it runs about $15-$20 per gallon. It is textured to provide grip too.

Perfect for around the pool.

I have to see your pool.  You do so much work on it you have persuaded me to never ever build one.  Also I thought Lenai's were private porches usually on the front of the home or off master suites?
