A Little Help

Featured Replies

I had posted a topic the other day asking for help with a local pond that I've been fishing, once again to reiterate I'm catching all small bass, <1lb. I asked for help and I was given suggestions, Frogs and jigs, and worms.

Well I fished the frog on the pads and I got some bites from the Spro frog but nothing monstrous, jig nothing, and a heavy worm i got one bite but again was small, question

It shallow most parts and I can see all small bass, should i get a boat and go out deeper, what is a good open water bait?

Could you look at attached pic and give me some advice, it's southern ga?

Thanks for any help,

That's a largemouth.

My advice is to fish it and don't worry about only catching small bass. The big ones will come. If there are bass that small in the lake there has to be some moms and dads in there to.

Carolina rig throwing out to deeper water and working extremely slow should help you land bigger fish.
