sorry for this rant and pardon my french but the refs in this Dallas, Carolina game S-U-C-K. if Carolina loses due to these horible calls somthing needs to be done, pass interferance is somthing that should be reviewable

also id like to say how biased the refs are they are deffinatly favoring dallas by not callin them but then callin everylitte thing Carolina does  >:(

now they rule an incomplete pass?? i could do a better job than these fools

I would have to agree with you, I saw the interference that was not called and the guy was pretty much crawling up his back.  I do not understand how they can miss so many calls in one game.  :o

I saw the game too and it was disgusting.  Would love to see a game between Dallas and Pittsburgh - the refs would be in a quandry over who to favor!  ;D

Ya ever notice how ref's never make a bad call that favors YOUR team?  :-/

im not a fan of either team, although i hate dalla but i just think its wrong that if you call the interferacnce then call thats a catch the panthers COULD have won.....but whats done is done so not much than any of us can do and this certainly isnt the first or last time it will happen.

The steelers have been on the losing end of bad calls for years.  It is about time they get some of those calls back.  The officiating has been awful this year.  There have been questionable calls in almost every game this year.  In the off season they had better take all of the officials and put them through some very intense training on how to officiate a game in the NFL and do it right.

Avid - actually I have seen a few go to the team I was rooting for at times. However, it feels more like vindication when they do it.  It's like, "FINALLY one goes our way instead!"

On another note, I think they should do away with the "illegal contact" rule regarding the 5 yard limit on recievers.  It takes away from good ol fashioned football, IMHO, and has nullified many a great play this season.

if i read what your saying right Glenn i agree. as long as both the defender and reciever are involved in it, however if lets say the reciever is pushing off of the defender who is not contacting the reciever i feel that should be called

ok i think that made sense  :)

The Cowboys are always going to get those calls. Always have, always will. Nothing we can really do about it except gripe about it.  :-/  ;D

bet they wont get those calls next week in Washington lol  ;)

Pushing off the defender has been a penalty for a very long time now.  I'm not saying that should go away.  I'm just talking about the new "illegal contact" penalty recently implemented where the defender essentially cannot touch the receiver after he's gone 5 yards.  Seems what used to be normal bumping during good, close defensive coverage is now not permissable.

In NASCAR, we call "bumping" "just racing".   ::)
