i finally reached the coveted 1000 post mark...so is my status of having no life official now?

Sorry dude, no pity party for you, you have way too many fish under your belt.  later in life perhaps, you'll realize how lucky you are to have a hobby you love that is not negative.  It is rarer and rarer these days.  In other words,....you could be doing worse things.  either way, we're happy to have both of you :)

Well, after your post, I went back and checked my count.  Jeez, I'm over a thousand also.

On average, I fish twice a week, year round.  I have a loving wife.  My kids are grown and out of the house. I guess I would have to admit that I have a life - and a good one.

I have to confess though, that I had a HELLUVA lot more fun when I was in my Twenties and Thirties; and I hardly ever fished back then, except for
