i remember someone saying they used their laptop in the car to serve as a gps unit,how do you do it?

    Wrleless if talking Global positioning, but theres nothing stock in a laptop that makes it GPS unit.

    Maybe just good mapquest or other map feature.

    While Matt is correct in that your laptop will not show you your position it will show you how to get from point A to point B which is all a GPS will do.
