Mod question

Featured Replies

First off let me say that Bass Resource is awsome. The knowledge around these forums is over-whelming to me. I've been here since last summer and only now have the confidence to shop for a reel or rod. Its took that long to read thru most things to have what knowledge there is in me ;D

so, I can't imagine how you Mods keep up with watching the forums.

I so appreciate what you guys have done to have a site like this for fishing heads to share :)

Now my Question: Whats Next?

Have you'all considered trying a Magazine, as for costs and risk, would it be less risky to try one and we beable to order it on line? I for one would buy it :)

I love the site and compared to a mag this being "LIVE" is no comparison but, was wondering if you have considered trying one Mag?

Other than that thanks to ya all ;)

I'll field this question, since I own the site.  :)

I've thought about a magazine, but publishing costs are too high to make it worthwhile - especially since everything can be found here for free.

I'm an Internet guy, not a print guy.  I DO know that attempting to apply print tactics to the Web is a huge mistake, and vice-versa.  So "going print" wouldn't play to my area of expertise.

That said, I DO have an extensive background in broadcast and non-broadcast professional video production, so a TV show is something I'd like to tackle someday.

Thanks for asking!

Hey FishinG Buds: See that little ARTICLES on the upper left side of the screen, click on that. MORE INFO THAN ANY MAG I KNOW OF, thatl give you some NO MORE CABIN FEVER READING

Glenn, just think of the possibilities!  Today, Bassresource.com. Tomorrow BassResource.com AND Bass Resource Magazine.

You could be the next William Randolph Hearst of the bass fishing world! :o

No problem, was curious about it.  But, when you think Big you do it, man TV show, wow.  You just made me curious about that now, how do you test that water? A Pilot-or something put on YouTube to see how many hits you get? That don't sound cheap.

Next thing you know Glenn you'll have your own " Apprentice " show  ;D

Be sure to put Mr. Trump on first I'd like to see you tell him "your fired" for a change, that would be nice ;)  ;D

i can see it now..... avid as the cameraman and muddy as the boating/trolling motor expert  ;D
