HEY FELLAS; Many of you have PM'd me, after reading an article about what we do. We help guys coming back into society by setting them up with some rods and reels, and basic tackle and take em fishing. These fellas are mostly coming out of jail or are new to a recovery program, and some just plain out needy. I have Glenn's permission to do this here. We are not a big organized chaity, just a few fellas , helping a few fellas out. We are asking for Donations of

I didn't know you were doing stuff like that.  When I get my molds and lead in, I'll send you some jigs.  I know we already talked about what I was going to send you, but I'll throw in some extra stuff.  Good deal man.

That is a great thing you are doing Muddy! I just outfitted one of my stepsons, a daughter-in-law and two granddaughters with my spare gear or I would have been glad to donate to you and the cause you are doing as that is great man!!! I will keep you in mind for future donations though. I tip my hat to you for such a great service to others.

For anyone who always wanted to make a difference but may be short on time, money or whatever, this is a great opportunity to DIRECTLY effect another persons life.  This gear goes from your hands to Muddy's hands and directly into hands that need 1 thing,....not to be "idle".

If you have an old rod or reel or some tackle that you know works but you don't use,.....put it to good use.  Make a difference,...be THAT guy

It was suggested that for those who Don't know what this is about, or haven't read the article I explain myself.

 I am in a recovery program for over 15 years. When I first got clean , I was homeless and in despair. A few of the old timers in the program I am in, started taking me fishing when I first came in and they used this as a way to reinforce what i had to do to stay clean, and to show me I could have a good time . I have stayed celan for many years now and in order to honor these guys, and to help guys just getting clena, outta jail and instiutions. Me and my friend Bruce outfit a number of fwellas, sometime both a guy and his kids , take them out a few times and show them how to have some great recreation in this sport we love so much. We used to buy most of the stuff with the aid of a few fellas, who have since moved from the area. These donations will aloow us to outfit several fellas this year, as there are many who could use the help. EVERYTHING DONATED GOES DIRECTLY TO THOSE IN NEED Thanks Fellas.

I think he's going for 14 set ups this yr as there are a few "families" involved which means outfitting the kids too.  This goal of 14 set ups is easily achievable, oo far I think he's gotten 8 set ups worth of rods/reels just from BR alone with lots of great tackle and accessory donations also.  Why,....whatchya got?
