the puter tonight. lost all the fishing pics from the last year since i never took the time to put them to a disk. put your pics to disk, youll be glad you did.

id like to have a short talk with the ppl who make these viruses.  >:(

Get an external hard drive!!!!  You'll never be disappointed you did.  I learned my lesson once the hard way too.  Didn't lose anything too important though.

i should because after watching some of the other posters videos i will be taking the video camera on all fishing trips from now on.

yes get an external hard drive... I bought a 320 for 120 shipped to me here.. they aren't that expensive.. and the peace of mind is priceless... just back up all your important files to that and you have redundancy that you can count on... I put all my music on an exteranal hard drive... I wouldn't be able to function without it

Or a second internal hard drive or partition your main HD.  I just Re-loaded windows Sunday after getting a really bad virus (my own stupid mistake).  What I found out on my reload was Firefox, Vers. 2, stores bookmarks differently than previous versions.

I lost all of them.     >:(
