Beautiful Lakes

Featured Replies

I saw this picture and thought it is the most beautiful lake i have ever seen, imagine being in a boat down on the lake and looking around you and seeing that scenery. If you have any good lake pics post them.

That is one sweet pic Jake. It would be surreal to fish there, the wildlife, the clean air etc. Time would stand still for a little while anyway.

alpine lakes are buy far some of the most amazing senery ever :o! I'm lucky enough to live in Montana well at least for the school year. Me and my friends go to them all of the time. Fishin on them is great with a three wt fly rod you can catch fish every cast they aren't big but still a blast just bring some good friens and some beer(as long as you pack it out)!! I'll have to see if i can find some pics!!

My home lake, Parsley's Mill, may not be as epic as those above but she sure was purty to me...

if you look close enough, those two pictures are of the same lake from the same angle, just different distances away. look at the rock structure and you'll see. still beautiful regardless. nice pics.

I would not feel to safe at this body of water with this guy in a bow tie over head :-[

Hey, that's Jimzee.  It looks like the winter blues finally got to him and he went on to the sky.  Well, at least he DID pick a fine looking lake to look down on. ;D

Mud Slide or Flooding Right.  I remember you Posted before and after pics,  That was a nice body of water  :'(

Yup, during our last major hurricane back in '04. We got something like 18 inches of rain in like 5 hours. The spillway simply couldn't handle it and the dam just gave way...

That lake was teeming with bass in the 3-5lb range, there were even a few 9's and a 10 pulled out of there. But now all I got to look at is a huge mud hole  :'(
