Electric Fences Approved

Houston city council has approved the use of electric fences for business owners to help control their property.

They will require warning signs, certain limits on voltage, and an outer fence to seperate the two in order to keep anyone from accidently coming in contact.

Just another reason to learn the english language, and to keep your hands off other people's property. I really was hoping they would approve trained snipers for the rooftops.

I imagine it will only be a problem for the same individuals that continue to rip off the honest people of this country. Now if we can just have the ability to adjust the voltage it may be a deterrence...Maybe...

I'm sure the insurance is going to go way up.  To bad we have to resort to extreme measures to guard our property.

This will last as long as it takes for some undocumented worker to overindulge, cross said fences and get a good jolt.

Someone's wallet is going to get fatter...  :-X

ACLU, where are you?

Don't worry, they are right around the corner!

Bet the electric/utilities companies are happy. Do the warning signs have to be multi-language too? Best security is a BIG DOG(s) with an "attitude". Burglars/thieves/vandals will normally avoid any house/business if they know or even think there's a guard dog around. IMO.

When my grandfather built his house (same one I grew up in) the neighborhood was so safe that people never locked doors.  Now you don't

want to go there, day or night.  WTH happened??

Betcha money there'll be people connecting wires with alligator clips to the electric fences and bleeding off electricity for their own purposes.  Or at least they would if they could.
