Salty dogs

Featured Replies

Any other salty dogs out there?  I'm watching Capt Norm , ....what a class act.  He really exemplifies what it means to be a Captain.  Clear, calm, and a leader.

I was fortunate to have someone very similar to Capt Norm in my life for many years.  People with that kind of character can be addictive.  I always felt I was in the presence of greatness when around my mentor.

Anyone else have the honor of learning under a true old salt?

I grew up on the Louisiana Gulf coast and spent many a day as a deck hand/first mate on charter fishing boats. I have a good friend that has 2007 Hatteras 77 Convertible She features a length of 76' 10", a 22' beam and a shallow draft of 5'3", easily the best in her class.
