Help wanted-vector files

Featured Replies

I need some files created in "Vector" or "Raster" format for some custom shirts. (Photoshop or Corel Draw)

I have roughly 10-12 logos that need to be re-created.

This is one of them and they are all similar

Willing to pay  :)

Im not knowledgeable with fireworks but since I do know its a web program I doubt if thats the type of application you are looking for. If you do need a hand Im pretty sure I could help you out. You would just need to gimme item size and file size requirements and file type.

You need Illustrator, not Photoshop.  And you can't turn a PSD into a vector image.  Been there, tried that, gave up.

Doubtful you want to shell out the 600 bucks for the program, so you're on the right track asking for help.  Wish I could help, but I don't have Illustrator (yet).

Russ, do a google search for: convert gif to vector

There are some informative results there.

One has a link to a download for a program called Delineate which apparently converts .jpg and .gif to raster file types.

Try those, if they don't work, I MAY be able to do it in Illustrator for you. I know for sure I could outline the stuff, but it looks like the one logo is embossed, and I'm not quite sure if I can mimic that.

Yes, the "emboss" is a bevel feature in fireworks.  I believe we used an "inner" bevel on everything.  Thanks for all the help so far guys!!  Pa1n, I may have to take you up on that.  I'll let you know.

Thanks again!!

LBH, I tried to do some stuff in illustrator, the best I can do is to trace the shapes of the images, I can't figure out how to mimic the 3d effect of the bevel.

I could produce you with vectors of the basic image (the shapes, text, etc...)  which can be resized to any size without distortion as long as they aren't too complex, but you would have to apply the effects (bevel in the case of the first one) to each resized version in whatever editing program you used (fireworks, photoshop, etc)

Sorry I couldn't be more help, but I use illustrator for the flat style graphics it produces so I haven't really explored the ways to make 3d effects with it.

Russ, you can download a 30 day trial version of Illustrator off the Adobe website.
