I heard the coolest thing...

Featured Replies

We buried my Aunt Mary Monday.  At the end of the funeral Mass her son played his guitar and sang "Go Rest High on That Mountain".

When he got to the refrain I could hear this fabulous harmony just like in the video.  Problem was, I couldn't see that any of the other choir members were singing.

After a while I noticed that he was stepping on a switch at the beginning and end of each refrain.  He was turning on a "harmonizer" that turned his voice into three-part harmony.  Man, technology is cool.

My condolences, Olebiker.

BTW, I own a TC-Helicon vocal harmonizer and reverb.  You can create 4 harmony voices to go with your own.  It also has timing and pitch correction so that when I sing a note sharp or flat it alters it to the correct pitch.  These devices are why some people sound great in the studio and then when you hear them live they sound like garbage.   :)

That song was played at my grandfathers funeral. Im sorry to hear about your loss, my condolences.

So fess up ole.....

did you have a moment where you thought you were hearing a divine voice?

Seriously,,,,,,

I thought it was either angels or Ricky Skaggs.  I would have been OK with either one.
