wow never saw this comming, could be a step in the right sirection hiring a low profile guy that is young,,should help cambell out with his progress alot.kudos to DS and im actually lookin forward to 08-09 season :)

Dan Snyder likes to surprise everyone but the result will probably be the same 8-8 next year.  I always gave Dan Synder the bennifit of the doubt but NOT hiring Gregg Williams was the last straw with me.  All the good of the end of last season is down the tubes.  Good players and coaches will avoid Washington and the good players here will be trying to get off the Titanic.  I am not getting over this fiasco any time soon.

Come on, guys.  Zorn will do great at Washinton if Campbell is ready to play at 100% next year.

Hope the Skins can get some good Offensive Linemen this draft or free agency or trades to help protect the QB and open some holes for the running game.

Either of you guys want to buy season tickets?  I will sell mine to you with only a $500 markup ;D

I can't be positive about the way Daniel Snyder treats people.  He fired just about everyone at Redskins park including secretaries and office workers.  He fired a coach with 3 games to go in a season, fired another after one season.  How many times do we have to see a press conference like the one that they had with Steven Davis saying that he will be a Redskin for life and shipped out of town the next year.  Chris Samuels had that press conferene last year and I expect him to be gone in a year.  How about the beatdown that Patrick Ramsey got under Spurriers offense's lack of protection and then the next year the guy is a bum.  Gregg Williams was supposed to GET the job.  Now Snyder has screwed him over too.  Snyder said he wanted continuity but he is completely changing the offensive system with Zorn.  This whole coach hiring process has ment that Joe Gibbs coming back has changed nothing.  For the last 8 years I always said that Snyder paid the big bucks to buy the team and he could do what he wants with it but I don't have to support it with my money anymore.  This gripe is not directed at you guys but at the idiot Dan Snyder and the stupid things that he has done.  He has made Washington a laughingstock of the NFL.

Dan hasn't shown any particular skills at running a football team except the moneymaking aspect of it. He spent millions on guys like Spurrier and Gibbs and hasn't got a whole lot to show for it. But even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then and, who knows, Zorn may turn out to be very good.

Gregg Williams was a disaster during his three years at Buffalo. Unless he has changed his style, I don't think you guys are missing much by not having him as head coach.

Marty are you implying the Gibbs 2 era was a failure?....to me it was a great success considering since 92 they only had 1 playoff appearance until gibbs who in 4 years had 2

Wade Phillips was a disaster in Buffalo and was 13-3 with the Cowboys.  Vince Lombardi would have a bad record coaching in Buffalo!  Retread coaches who have failed in their first coaching stint have won a few Super Bowls lately.  Tom Coughlin, Bill Belichick, Tony Dungy and Jon Gruden all won the Super Bowl after getting fired.  Gregg Williams is a fiery coach that Redskins fans respected and was wanted by most.  If Dan Snyder wanted consistancy, he would have hired Gregg Williams.

another thing ot add Tpayneful is that gibbs wasnt exactly a hit in his first season and ill go out on a limb here but i expect cam cameron to do good once he gets his next chance

As a long time Skins fan, I am sick of the coaching caurosel in Wahington. I think, no I am sure that I will no longer support them. It's all Carolina Panthers. They may stink, but at least we can keep a coach longer than a year.
