Hello

Never fished hollow bodied Topwater frogs.  Wanted to get one but do not know what color and how to fish em.. any thoughs.

I'm thinking green but also black and white in terms of topwater visibilty??  I did a search and come up with nothing in regards to color

Black is always a good color for a topwater.

Black, Watermelon/Red, and green with a white belly.

I like a lighter white or tan color for the belly for day use and black for night.

I like all colors.  Just match the water conditions.

For me, colors on topwaters lures are like the garnish on my plate with my steak.  It looks nice but serves no real purpose.  If you doubt that, get a black one and a white one and put them in a swimming pool on a sunny day and dive underneath.  

HOWEVER, I like to pick really froggy looking colors because it puts me in the right mindset.

i usually use the all green original scumfrog but if not that just pick a natural colored one

JUST FISH IT! This is one lure that color doesn't seem to matter a whole lot! After you get a strike or two you are going to want to get every color anyways right??
